Toys R Us to open new store in Little Rock
A national toy retailer plans to return to Little Rock. The brand will welcome shoppers back to central Arkansas with a new storefront soon.
The Outlets of Little Rock announced the upcoming addition on Wednesday. Mall officials shared their excitement for the project online.
“Get ready for toys, games, gifts, and plenty of fun for kids of all ages. We can’t wait to welcome this iconic toy destination to the Outlets of Little Rock family!”
The brand filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017. It closed all retail locations the next year.
A separate site previously was announced for the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville. The retailer stated then that more locations would follow later.
Chapter 11 allows businesses to reorganize debts under court protection. Retail centers host diverse tenant rosters.
The Little Rock outlet center did not provide an exact opening date.
