Tina Moore leads Fountain Lake volleyball team to regional championship title
Coach Tina Moore guided Fountain Lake to a regional volleyball championship on Wednesday. The victory secures a spot in the upcoming state tournament.
The Fountain Lake Lady Cobras came back to win 3-2 against Conway Christian. The win makes the Cobras the 2026 3A South Regional champions.
“What a tournament, what a team, and what an incredible accomplishment,” Fountain Lake Athletics officials wrote. “These girls have battled, worked, and given it their all, and now they have a REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP to show for it!”
The triumph marked 601 total wins for Moore. She is now the winningest coach in any sport in Fountain Lake history.
“Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to generations of Lady Cobras have built a legacy that extends far beyond the volleyball court,” officials wrote.
High school regional tournaments determine which teams advance to compete for state titles. Teams that advance prepare for multi-day bracket games.
Fountain Lake will now play in the 3A State Tournament. Those games will take place between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28.
